challenge: designing an app that visualizes complex sensor data to caregivers in an understandable and intuitive way that helps them manage their lifestyle

outcome: through extensive research and interviews, an early prototype of the app was created, organizing the complex data sets into a clear hierarchy

a wearable device for children with autism that measures and tracks anxiety to help caregivers as well as themselves, better understand their behaviour

challenge: creating a wearable device with ergonomic considerations for children with autism that may have extreme sensory sensitivity to touch and sight

outcome: working with families with children suffering from autism, a wearable device was created that could adapt and fit all the different needs a child with autism may have

a wearable device for monitoring chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients' symptoms in order to allow physicians to provide more accurate treatments and also prevent unnecessary hospital admissions

challenge: working with engineers in the development of the wearable's enclosure, and also with physicians, COPD researchers, and COPD patients to fit their ergonomic and social needs

outcome: a wearable design that is comfortable and easy to put on for patients of an older demographic that is also ready for a variety of different manufacturing scales
